In Response to International Initiatives
Responding to International Initiatives
Edison Opto closely follows and actively respond to the development of various international sustainability initiatives to stay aligned with global sustainability trends.
In 2015, the United Nations member states adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, providing a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for humanity and guiding the world toward sustainability. At its core are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Edison Opto has integrated the SDGs into its business strategies, expanding its previous focus on financial performance to include environmental protection, compliance with regulations, improving employee benefits to retain talent, eliminating workplace inequalities, mitigating climate change and greenhouse gas emissions, and collaborating with suppliers to improve environmental practices and workplace conditions.
Summarizing the 2025 execution results, Edison Opto’s efforts align with 13 of the SDGs. Looking ahead, the company will continue to contribute to the SDGs and fulfill its corporate social responsibilities.
