Founded in 2001, Edison Opto Corporation began with LED lighting as its core product line during the early stage of the LED industry. Starting with mid- to high-power LED components, Edison Opto has grown alongside the evolution of the LED sector—from early competition to diversified applications—continuously expanding into various niche markets while strengthening its R&D capabilities and technological advantages.
Today, Edison Opto has developed a wide range of professional lighting products, including LED components, DOB, AC modules, DC modules, automotive lighting, horticultural lighting, and street lighting. The company strives to expand its market presence and lead Taiwan’s lighting industry, building a comprehensive kingdom of lighting design and integration services.
To establish a systematic module platform, Edison Opto developed the TEMO™ (Thermal, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical) technology and design service platform to enhance product quality. The company also pioneered LDMS™ (Lighting Design Manufacturing Service), an integrated lighting design and manufacturing service that covers every stage—from LED components and module design to optical lens applications and final product development—building vertically integrated manufacturing and design solutions that open new markets and extend Edison’s reach worldwide.
As of today, Edison Opto operates from its headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan, with manufacturing bases in Dongguan and Yangzhou, China, and a subsidiary in California, extending its business worldwide.
