R&D Incentive System – Encouraging Green Technology Development
To maintain the competitive advantage of innovative technologies, Edison Opto has established the “Intellectual Property Rights and Design Competition Incentive Program” to encourage colleagues to actively participate in innovation. Rewards or bonuses are provided for different stages such as patent applications, patent approvals, technology licensing, or participation in design competitions. Public recognition is conducted annually to stimulate innovative R&D momentum and enhance competitiveness.
To reduce environmental impact and achieve sustainable development, Edison Opto continues to invest in green technology R&D. In 2024, four patents related to eco-friendly design and energy-saving/low-carbon green technologies were granted. As of December 31, 2024, Edison Opto had obtained a total of 56 green technology patents, accounting for 26% of all patents. These achievements not only add value to products but also reduce environmental impacts through innovative technologies.
