Our company is committed to integrating sustainable development into all aspects of operations, including corporate policies, internal management models, various execution procedures, and related training programs. We also conduct audits of suppliers and contractors to ensure that the interests of all stakeholders are maximized. Through sustainability committees and related departments, we regularly review and evaluate the effectiveness of these initiatives.

We extend our expertise in LED technology to various lighting applications while incorporating environmental concepts into our business strategies. By introducing product lifecycle assessments and carbon reduction evaluations, we strive to generate profits while creating a high-quality living environment and contributing to society. The company’s sustainability-related activities are as follows:

Lighting Up the community, Brightening the Future

In July 2024, the "Lighting Up the community, Brightening the Future" initiative was launched by the Taipei plant. Edison collaborated with the Wulai Guanhuai Association in New Taipei City to replace 49 LED lamps, resolving poor lighting issues and providing students with a more comfortable environment for after-school study and meals.

Healthy Blood Donation, Extending Love

In May 2024, a blood donation event was held at the Yangzhou plant, with 10 employees from Edison and Litek actively participating, donating a total of 3,700cc of blood to spread warmth and care. In August of the same year, the Taipei plant partnered with the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation to host another event, inviting headquarters staff and local residents to participate. A total of 39 donors joined, collecting 9,750cc of blood to share love through action.

Donation Campaigns

On May 19, 2024, Edison Yangzhou and Litek supported the "One-Day Charity Donation" campaign organized by the Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee, contributing RMB 3,500 to support public welfare and community care. In September of the same year, a clothing donation drive was completed, with collected clothing delivered to the "Hengli Town Women’s Home" to help those in need, extending love together.

Industry-Academia Collaboration

To support local education, enhance students’ practical work experience, and reduce population outflow, the company actively collaborates with universities near its plants to provide practical training opportunities. The status of industry-academia collaboration in 2024 is shown in the table to the right.
