Work Environment and Protection Measures

Recognizing the importance of work environment and employee safety protection measures, the company obtained ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification in 2005. Through the ISO 14001 management framework, the company addresses major environmental considerations and occupational health and safety risk controls, implementing the following protective measures:

Employee Insurance System

Starting from the date of employment, in addition to statutory Labor Insurance and National Health Insurance for each employee, the company also provides a comprehensive group insurance plan, including term life insurance, accident insurance, accident medical insurance, cancer medical insurance, and critical illness insurance. All premiums are fully covered by the company (100%), offering employees comprehensive protection.

Employee Health Checkups

In compliance with the Labor Health Protection Rules, annual health examinations are arranged along with health data management. Doctors are invited on-site to provide individual consultations and explain results to employees.

Health Monthly Magazine

A health magazine is provided on a regular basis to promote and enhance employees’ self-health management and health education awareness.

Dedicated Lactation Room

To foster a family-friendly workplace, a dedicated lactation room is provided for employees, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for new mothers.

Smoke-Free Workplace Policy

In support of the government’s smoke-free workplace policy, the company organizes smoking cessation seminars and provides related competitions and incentive programs.

Access Control and Security

All plant areas are equipped with strict access monitoring and control systems, with building security personnel in place during nights and holidays to maintain safety.

Air Conditioning Maintenance and Cleaning

Professional contractors are engaged annually to clean and maintain air-conditioning systems on all floors. This improves the energy efficiency of central air systems, reduces dust accumulation in air ducts, prevents mold and bacterial growth, and improves indoor air quality to safeguard employee health.

Drinking Water Testing

Every quarter, external contractors replace filters and maintain water dispensers on all floors. Regular testing for E. coli and total bacterial count is conducted to ensure water quality meets legal standards. Results are posted next to the water dispensers for employee reference.

Occupational Safety and Health Training

To ensure employee safety and health and prevent occupational hazards, the company promotes occupational safety and health education. Daily pre-operation inspections are conducted, and regular occupational safety and health training sessions are organized to raise awareness.

Promotion of Zero-Accident Working Hours

The company promotes autonomous safety and health management activities, raising employees’ awareness of occupational safety and health and striving toward the goal of a zero-accident workplace.
