Compliance with Integrity and Anti-Corruption Policy

Suppliers are required to sign an “Integrity Commitment Letter” to comply with business ethics standards. The company conducts regular audits of the signing status, and relevant results are reported to the Chairman and management. If any dishonest behavior or breach of contract is identified, supplier transactions may be terminated or canceled at any time.

Conflict Minerals Policy

The company declares and commits not to accept the use of metals sourced from conflict-affected regions, specifically minerals like Tantalum (Ta), Tin (Sn), Tungsten (W), and Gold (Au).

  • We have established the “Hazardous Substance Control Procedure,” requiring suppliers to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Edison Opto continues to cooperate with conflict-free mineral programs to conduct supply chain mineral sourcing investigations.

Prohibition of Hazardous Substances

Suppliers of raw materials used in the manufacturing process are required to provide a “Restricted Substance Declaration” to ensure their products do not contain internationally banned substances harmful to the environment, ensuring compliance with relevant international regulations. During supplier environmental audits, if significant deficiencies are identified, suppliers will be required to submit a review and improvement plan within a specified timeframe. This measure reduces the environmental impact of Edison Opto's products, improves product competitiveness, and fulfills corporate social responsibility.

Compliance with Environmental Protection Regulations

Suppliers must comply with government regulations related to air pollution, water pollution control, waste management, and resource management. In the event of regulatory violations, suppliers are required to propose corrective action plans.

Sustainability Statement

To align with Edison Group’s commitment to promoting ESG and sustainable development, suppliers are required to sign a Sustainability Self-Assessment Declaration.” This initiative encourages suppliers to contribute to corporate social responsibility in areas such as environmental protection, energy conservation and carbon reduction, occupational safety and health, fair trade, as well as human rights and labor practices.
